NANS Ekiti JCC Constitutes Three-Man Electoral Committee for 2026 Convention

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee (JCC), Ekiti Axis, has officially constituted a three-man Electoral Committee to oversee preparations for its forthcoming 2026 convention and electoral process.
According to the association, the committee was established in line with the provisions of the NANS constitution and has been assigned the responsibility of coordinating every stage of the election process to ensure a free, fair, transparent, and credible exercise.
Among its key responsibilities are the release of the official election timetable, screening of aspirants, issuance of electoral guidelines, and supervision of activities leading to the emergence of new executives.
The leadership of NANS JCC Ekiti reiterated its commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness, urging all aspirants, stakeholders, and students across tertiary institutions in Ekiti State to cooperate with the committee throughout the electoral process.
Student leaders were also encouraged to embrace peaceful participation and uphold the values of unity, fairness, and mutual respect before, during, and after the convention.
The constitution of the committee marks another significant step toward ensuring a smooth leadership transition as preparations for the 2026 NANS JCC Ekiti Convention continue.
