The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has officially concluded its 2026 national convention, marking a major transition in student leadership across Nigeria.
The convention, held at the Old Parade Ground in Abuja, brought together student leaders from across tertiary institutions in the country to elect new national executives and discuss key issues affecting Nigerian students.

At the end of the election, Comrade Babatunde Akinteye Afeez emerged as the new National President of NANS.
